Just a quick post today… I have a proposal for web design to finish up today and a website design to finish for a customer tomorrow, so I won’t make a long post here or on SE Conspiracy until I finish those tasks.
Working to try to pay the bills has to take precedence.
Despite my lack of working funds, I have made some good decisions in investing in joint ventures with some trusted friends that I hope will pay off. They look positive but it might be too little too late, so I’m not holding my breath just yet.
I can’t help but feel positive about the future, because I am in a great position with my abilities, skills, and current partnerships. But, I also can’t help but feel helpless until I “see the money” from my efforts. It’s been slow going -as with any new venture- and I can’t pay the bills with opportunity only.
I did want to send a shout out thanking my friends, Tony and Jojo. Tony gave me $10 towards my ’cause’ the other day and Jojo tried to give something too. I didn’t intend to get them to donate, but I appreciate all I can get right now. 
I wasn’t noting donations from outside this blog, but I think I will add those in to the running total on the right (just under the ‘Donate’ button).
I’ve also been thinking that another very good friend of mine, Esther, has been really fighting with a hardship lately that has financially drained and burdened her and her husband. Perhaps I will offer to promote their request for help and donations here and/or on Digg. With enough publicity, people might just step up and help her out. I know I would if I could. But, at least I can offer my time to help others find out about her plight. I would go ahead and do it for her, but she may not want the whole world knowing her ills, so I will talk to her and see first.
Anyway, that’s all for now. If I get caught up and if Leah “let’s” me, I may post again later on today. haha.
