Well, today is a bit overwhelming so far.
I had planned to try to finish up a project and a proposal. I got the proposal done, but it’s 4pm and I haven’t even gotten to my project yet. I had a last minute task thrown on my plate which took 4 hours longer than expected -so far. It has become a problem because our supplier for our new online video game store (Zakioo.com) has three (3) major bugs in their online inventory system and we have been unable to get the inventory imported. Argh. Now, my day is wasted and I am still waiting on them to fix the issues and call me back.
I REALLY wanted to go watch “I AM LEGEND” tonight at the IMAX, but I guess it’ll have to wait until tomorrow night.
I did get in touch with my insurance company about my claim and they have put a new adjuster on my case. I am going to meet with her on Friday. So, hopefully, they will do the right thing. She hinted that Progressive may not be able to cover my medical expenses moving forward because the wreck happened so long ago (April 23rd), but that’s ridiculous.
My original claim was closed without valid reason and it has taken months for me to get all the documentation I needed in order to re-open my case without having it closed again. Plus, it took doctors awhile to diagnose me completely because 1. I didn’t have the money out-of-pocket to pay for treatment (still don’t), and 2. It took awhile to get the CT scan and MRI scheduled and completed. Now that I know my neck is in REALLY BAD SHAPE, I think someone should step up and pay for my bills. Unfortunately, the lady that hit me got away Scott free, but that doesn’t mean I should have to pay. I have uninsured motorist on my policy. Argh.
Ok, gotta get back to work!
