I don’t want to speak too soon, but I may have “bottomed out” again. Last week was a terrible week for me financially but some things started to work out with my online businesses. So, I’m a little more hopeful this week -especially since a client did send in partial payment (few hundred dollars) and another client is finally able to move forward with their project. Plus, I have several new, potential projects (paying) lined up for the first of 2008. So, there’s a possibility that last week was the low point and now I’m back in my upswing. I sure hope so. I’m tired of being broke and having people ask me things like “If you’re so smart, why are you broke?” or “If you’re so good at marketing, why aren’t your sites making tons of money?”
Those questions irk me every time, because they are valid questions to ask. The answer, though, is simple. It takes money to make money, and all of my money ($800,000+) was taken from me unfairly. So, now I’m scrounging. But, I’m getting traction and perhaps I will be able to make a comeback again soon.
I think the most impressive part about how I make money is that I can get going with so little. I can take almost nothing and turn it into something. I can take something worthless and make it worth something. Once I get money, I can multiply it quickly. I think that is why so many people ask me for help and are eager to learn how I do it. I have been told that I inspire and motivate people because of that.
One of my ventures (Get Paid Hwy) has shown some real promise now that I’ve finally been able to realize my goal of making it an Ad-Revenue sharing forum. Today is the first day, and it’s already proven to be a working arrangement that will finally begin to generate some income for me AND members of the site.
